About Techology Consult
Technology Consult is best described as an experienced, talented and above all enthusiastic group of people who have come together in an office located in central Edinburgh, to simply put it 'Make your dreams a reality.'
Ok, we may be getting a little carried away with our choice of words, but in truth the problems we solve for our clients on a day to day basis do stop them from having nightmares about their IT.
We could use this space to selflessly brag about how great we are at building websites with complex back ends or integrations, so great in fact that time and time again we have become more and more venture capitalists point of call when they need to de risk an online project. Alternatively we could shout about how we use innovative technologies to deliver top notch projects for platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and the iphone, to our clients. Maybe we would tell you that we have become the go to guys for an increasing number of digital agencies needing to add a layer of technical ability to their projects.
We prefer however to let our work and reputation speak for itself. What we will say is, if you want to work with a team that will bring a fresh approach to your project, whilst injecting some real pizzazz (Yes, that’s a real word!) then you need look no further.
Nuff said……em Time to call us now… Stop reading… No really STOP
Interesting Facts- (Well we think they are interesting!)
- We like to play Golf, and Basketball although were not Pros at any of them. (Thus we develop software, we're Professionals at that!)
- The team loves a great curry; any offers to take us out for one will be accepted immediately. (You have been warned, we are polite most of the time, but not when food is introduced into the equation)
- We love to talk! In fact it's one of our favourite methods of communication. . . E-mail is second, just in case you were wondering
- We are all geeks at heart, but try getting one of us to admit it! (No really do try!)

Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce
Should I know them? They are part of the national network of the British Chamber of Commerce.
What they said "Organised Mail is an impressive product"
What did you do for them? The SCT needed us to create a brand new website. Their old one was built using a content manager that no one in the organisation could understand or use. The brief was simple: create a clean, accessible website that was extremely easy to update.
We created a fresh design using their current theme as inspiration and created a 50 + page website that took into account all current accessibility standards. We also trained their webmaster on how to update the website.
www.sct.scot.nhs.ukWhat did you do for them? In short we built them a social network! Initially the concept was derived by a young sportsman in Scotland, his idea was to create an online meeting place for sports organisation members to share information about their respective sports. He quickly convinced some venture capitalists that the idea would fly, and they sought out a technology company that could deliver a scalable solution.
We built www.myclublink.com from the ground up, integrating various other social network platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Google. The site has been over a year in the making and it is getting updated on a daily basis — feel free to check it out and see just how extensive a project it has been.
www.myclublink.comWhat did you do for them? The Edinburgh Chamber of commerce sends upwards of 50,000 emails a month. They had a current provider, but were looking to see if there was any way they could increase the levels of service they offer to their members, and if possible reduce costs.
We offered them our in-house newsletter tool, Organised Mail. Giving them a chance to integrate their newsletters with social media such as Facebook, while slashing their monthly outgoings. We were also commissioned to create newsletter templates for them and update these if and when necessary.
